Update from Nancy

We received a red silk covered folder filled with information on Benjamin yesterday.
It has everything they want us to know about him from his favorite friends and nanny to his sleeping and eating patterns. He does not like his bath time and cries; wait till he has some cool bath toys he'll never want to get out!

I have not stopped looking at it since we received it.

We are developing further questions to ask of the Nannies when they bring him to us so that his transition is easier.

We met some more couples and families from our travel group at orientation and the luncheon. We are in a very nice group of people. Who else would adopt but loving caring people?

The tours were nice and the forbidden city extraordinary yesterday. It was interesting to see that they still use ancient machines to spine the threads of silk worm cocoons into thread then weave them into cloth from a single strand if possible.

Last night was fun relaxing at the Hard Rock café. Thanks Mike for suggesting we find the place it was a short taxi ride to and from and a whole lot of fun with one of the other couples. This night be our last night out without worries of babysitters so we took advantage of it.

We went out this morning in search of picture books with Chinese and English writing and were successful at the foreign language book store. Sadly Gary's books were not to be found in the large book store of this smaller shop. We did she Steven King dean Koontz and Douglas Clegg though.

We need to head out shortly to the airport for Nanjing. Stay tuned for more fun filled adventures as we add Baby to The Family Frank …
